enable startup menu (W98)

i want to enable my startup menu for entering into the DOS i know one way from start menu-run-msconfig-advanced and enable the startup menu but i want another way
plz help me

By using notepad to open <font color=red>c:\msdos.sys</font color=red> you can add the following line at the bottom of the file: <font color=green>BootMenu=1</font color=green>

Another, less permanent, way is to power the PC and hold down the CTRL key until the Startup menu appears.
