Need download IE 6 pack 1 - But it's not working????? (WXP-Pro)

My IE 6 is not answering my clicks... and when I choose my home page (as a blank one, for example) it's doens't save the configuration.

When I type an URL, it does not answer. It goes always to same page: http://homepage.com, or it fill the URL I typed with http://www.aaa.com.echpp?? (something like that).

Or it start always in a porno page.

I entered in microsoft.com and dowloaded Pack 1. But when I was installing, it said that my WINDOWS LOGO TEST WAS NOT APPROVED (or something like that).
Then I dowloaded the update file disponible at microsoft.com. But it need the pack 1 for working.

I dont know what else to do!!! I'm, thinking in downloading MOZILLA, and forgetting IE.

Paul,

Your problem is not related to IE6. It is related to something you added to it such as spyware or a link you clicked on that changed your searches and homepage. It may also be a combination of both.

I would recommend you start by reading the page and using SpyBot S&D (http://www.merijn.org/cwschronicles.html>CWShredder</a>.

If) and/or <a target="_blank" href=http://www.lavasoftusa.com/>AdAware</a>.

Be sure to read any and all warning so you will know what to do.
