registry tweak found in feb 2004 maximumpc, pg 35. change the logon backgound color. it says to do the following:
open regedit and navigate to the following registry key: hkey_users\default\control panel\colors. on the right-side details panel, double-click background string value. change this number to a three-digit RGB value, then click OK.
i have done the above just as it states, several times with several different three-digit RGB values...no change? this tweak seems to do NOTHING? anybody familiar with this tweak?
