Clear search window (W98)

I'm a newbie to this forum. Hope this is the right forum to post this question. A search turned up "no replies", or something like that. How can I clear my MSN search window? I know it can be useful but I want to clear it. When I start a new search and type a few letters a bunch of words from previous searches pop up. Can I clear those? If I can please be specific about what to do. My user name is very appropriate. Thanks.

If this is the typed URLs in your IE Address bar then you can go to IE Tools, Internet Options and on the General tab click the 'Clear History' button. It will clear more than just the typed URLs.

If it is the info you type into a form within MSN then go to IE Tools, Internet Options, Content tab, click on the Auto Complete button and then the 'Clear forms' button.
Above that button you can select your Auto Complete preferences too.
