Delay In Finding Networked Computers (W2K)

I have 2 W2K (SP4) PC's in a home network. On PC1 in windows explorer, when I access the network, by clicking on "Computers Near Me" it takes 25/30 secs every time before the network is displayed. On PC2 it is almost instant. Any ideas anyone.

It depand on how "to solve machine name",
defualt is DNS->WINS->NetBIOS, I think your Network is not big enoght to use the DNS. Please right click your Network-connection, open Properties, delete unsueful Protocol, double click "Internet Protocol", Advanced, WINS, put a check on "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP".

Thanks, but "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP" was ALREADY ticked as you suggested. Problem still exists as originally stated.
