Worstation Inventory (W2K)

Thanks in advance for your time!
I am working with latest ZEN - taking workstation inventory.
I think I have some useres that have:

Hacked the Regisrty and turned off Workstation Manager or the Module need for the Inventory.

and or

Replace files or put files in place that tell Novell different info than what the computer is.
For an example... a different serial number or the type of workstation.
Is there a file that can be replaced for the inventory that will give bogus information back to my database?

That is an easy problem to fix. Take away the computer from any hacker and reformat it.
