I would like to get some hints on how to access a shared drive behind a firewall.
Currently, I do not log on to Windows NT under properties of Client for MS Networks when I boot up my computer.
When I access my corporate VPN using a Cisco VPN Client, I obtain access to my Outlook e-mail behind the firewall, but I am unable to access the network shared drives also behind the firewall.
My other computer running Windows 2000 appears to be able to do both.
Any suggestions on settings in Windows ME that can achieve the same result of Windows 2000? I have tried checking the log on to Windows NT setting in the Client for MS Networks under My Network Places, but the domain of my corporate server does not appear to be recognized when I try to map a network drive using My Network Places.
