I am trying to create a group policy object on my
domain. I opened Active Directory Users and Computers. I right click on Users containers. When i right click on the properites, I do not have the Group Policy tab. I only have General, Object and Security.
Why don't i see this tab?

You will need to create an OU to place the users into. Then you can enforce your policies on that OU. I am not sure why it is this way, but thats the way it has to be done. I find this useful because I have many different levels of users and I wouldnt want to enforce policies upon myself or my administrator account.

Ahhh, ok. I am not sure if advanced server is different from server. We have been using server here and it does everything that we need it to do and I have never seen advanced server.
Hopefully someone else can shed some light on the subject for you.

advanced server group policy isn't fundementally different from server. creating the OU should've done the trick. have you made sure that you're not restricting the user's access to group policy? if you have the tab obviously won't show up...
