hi, this may have little or nothing to do with the registy editor, but i just wanted to add my own contribution to the forum.
there is a small program for Disabling the OE 5 Splash Screen as well as customising the title bar text in OE and IE. Also Removing favorites, documents, and log-off (user name)from the start menu along with a few other features. ive found this program very useful.
it's at http://www.freewareweb.com/addons3.html
just click on it and save it to c:\windows\system and creat a shortcut to the desktop. (it;s not an install program)
