Does anybody know of any A-drive files that I can boot on that will give me control of the files and directories. I have NTFS with Windows XP pro. I want to manually delete some files.

Well, you're in the WinNT/2000 section but this article will give some help for Win2000:

Well, I got the dual boot method to work out of the microsoft support site. Its far from having free reign over the files and directories. I guess the days of having a 3.5 floppy with system files and a few of your favorite files is all but over.

well if you're running Bloatware (Microsoft), then yes...
if you're running linux...probably...
you're running Scyld on a distributed system...then no!
