On my xp home when it comes to the login screen, administrator is not shown. What i would like to do is just hold ctrl alt and press delete twice to go to the nt login, then type in administrator dn login, but it wont let me because of some kind of restriction... how can i change this?

Did you try turning off the Welcome screen?

I'm not sure but registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon" and valuename "Administrator" with REG_DWORD with value 1 might have something to do with your problem.

That registry value only determines whether or not the Admin is shown on the login screen. What I need to fix is at the NT login, for some reason it wont let Admin login because of an account restriction...

I don't know about WXP Home, but in WXP Pro you can set user rights assignments so that you can deny "Logon on locally" user right from specific users. These setting can be found from Local Security settings from Administrative tools.
