My Win2000 machine had 2 user accounts, Administrator and X. As I am the only user I have the machine set-up so that no password is required, the machine starts up and loads the X user profile.

I recently had house guests who wanted to use the computer, so I set-up another user account and required use of passwords. After they left I deleted the user account and turned off the requirement for passwords.

Now whenever I turn on the computer, it immediately goes to the Administrator user account. How do I direct the default behavior to login to my X account on startup, as it was???

TIA,
Kris

Download/install this, open it from Control panel, autologon tab and put in the X account for the account to log on to.

Hope that helps
