My w2k is acting weird sometimes, i think some files are corrupt/missing. I know that there are tools that can investigate the system, but im not an expert, and i dont wanna reinstall everything.
Can someone give me an advise, how to, and a good tool to investigate the system?

Find Dr Watson and run it. Or RUN/ type cmd, type sfc /scannow (note space).
