reinstalling windows ME (WME)

i am totally clueless about computers. i need to reinstall windows ME i need help do i uninstall first then install it or do i install over what i have on computer currently?

Re-install right over it. There is no 'uninstall' option for the operating system

Actually, if you can do a clean install, do that instead.
(Backup important stuff first!!)

Re-installing over the top, can bring some of the same problems right into your re-install, and cause other problems as well.

OS Uninstall is essentially "Format" in my book. /images/forums/icons/laugh.gif
