Can I add locations to the left pane of win explorer?

I have been digging in the registry and looking through Xteq but I can't find this anywhere but someone must have found it so I will ask.

In Windows Explorer how can I add shortcuts or places to the left pane. Currently my left pane displays the following

Desktop
My computer
My documents
My network places
Recycle bin

I want to add other items to this list that are like shortcuts to other directories that I use frequently.
