Right-click My Computer, Properties, and the Processor will show toward the bottom of the first screen. It's possible for the Pentium II on older computers to display as a Pentium Pro, which it replaced. The Pentium was never known officially as a Pentium 1 as there was no indication when it came out that there would be a II, III, or IV.
Could get Advisor from www.belarc.com and get all kinds of information.
