please please help
I set up a slave drive on my computer, it was working fine, then one of the connections came out the back of the slave drive. This then crashed the computer.
On re-starting the computer it then run a scan disk on both the master and slave, C: and D:.
The computer loaded fine. On further investigation, I noticed that everything on the slave drive had been put under one file namely SETUPTXT.LOG.
On clicking this file it asked me what format I would like the file to be opened in, I did nothing at this point.
Other than try to return the slave to it original computer as the master, but errors occurred still.
It seems to me that the scan disk has somehow compressed all the data on the slave under one file and hopefully its just a matter of decompressing this to gain access to everything on the slave drive. Also the drive was nearly full 3g, it is now full, with 0 free mb.
Thanks for your help
