hi,
how about you try to change the hardisk location from primary master to secondary master, I've experience that before and when i change it, its work properly.

If you can get in to safe mode, your computer is definitely accessing its hard drive, so by changing your setting from Primary Master to Secondary Master this would only cause the computer to not boot in to anything, unless there was a hard drive connected to it at that location. Which your main hard drive is not.

I'm taking a guess that the problem is in fact one of your drivers. And I'm aiming at your video card driver.

Go in to safe mode, right-click on My Computer, and choose Properties. Click the device manager tab, and navigate to the "Display Adapters" section. Double-click your video card, and make sure the "Exists in all hardware profiles" check box is UNCHECKED. Restart your computer.

If this still doesn't work, then perhaps you have installed a new driver recently? If so, try to disable that as well.

Now, if you actually boot in to Windows disabling the video card, your screen will look a little funky. But that's good, in a way, because you know the cause of the problem. Now just download the most recent driver for your video card, reinstall it, and it should work.

I hope this helps,

Maybe you have a problem with the FastShutDown option. You can easily enable/disable it with X-Setup. I disabled it and the rebooting problem was solved.
