Hi;
I do some prosumer video production and was using the Dazzle Hollywood Bridge to capture some analog video. I recently bought an ATI ALL-IN-WONDER 8500 DV video card because of specs and price. This card also has analog to digital capture capabilities.
The problem: The ATI installation software installed the video capture drivers before the Hollywood drivers (LStone) and because (I think) the Dazzle Bridge was shut down, assumed the same device enumeration. So now I've got two drivers plying for device number 0x0001. Hence, the second driver set (LStone) is kicked out on boot and the Dazzle Bridge is no longer recognized when it is powered up.
Question: How can I change the registry entry for LStone to be renamed to device 0x0002. The production software (Pinnacle Sturdio 8) allows me to select the capture source, but now only the ATI video capture for analog operations is shown in the drop down selection control.
I’m looking at location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Regards;
Wayne
