I have this weird registry entry I've noticed.
Any ideas on what this is for?

It's not on my WinXP Pro, doesn't appear to be a 'normal' entry. You might Export it to the Desktop as a .reg file and then delete it and see if something doesn't work correctly.

I think I have deleted it once before, but somehow it apparently came back.

No normal reg key would use "garbage" like that though.
