I'm trying to stream a music broadcast from Live.365.com - something I've been doing without problems for months - now suddenly I'm getting an error message saying it's not possible because I've got ActiveX Controls disabled. Wha? I made no changes that I'm aware of. And I'm seeing other similar problems on various websites now, too. I've reset all Internet Options back to default and I'm still getting the error. Suggestions?

In Internet Options go to the Security Tab, highlight the Internet icon, then hit the Custom Level button, select Medium from the resulting drop down menu and Apply and OK yourself out.

This should reset your ActiveX controls so that you can stream music and still be safe.

I have a problem with Active X also, when i try windows update it says:

Your current security settings prohibit running active x controls on this page. As a result the page may not display correctly.

The Active X settings I mentioned above should work in your situation as well.
