Hello Everyone, i have a Blue light.com pc with windows98SE and i have not used it in almost two years, i have been using xp! I want to give this pc to someone but i want to clean out as much as i can of the stored Data! What is the fastest way of doing this? Thanks, Tom

Tom,
The best solution would be to format and re-install W98. I'm assuming you just want to clean up the system and still have W98 run on it? If so, I wouldn't do deltree C: as this will delete all files and folders.
If this is the case then you will have to manually go to the folders where the data is stored and delete the files. Someone else may be able to provide a script for cleaning out all your temp files.

AndyS, I would like to format and then reinstall 98SE for the person i am giving it to (who lives in another state) How do i format and reinstall (never did it on this PC?

The simplest way is to download a W98 SE OEM boot disk from <a target="_blank" href=http://www.bootdisk.com>www.bootdisk.com</a>
Boot the diskette and type format C: at the a: prompt.
Insert your W98 CD and re-install.
