PoPup Suppressed? How? (W98)

I know that there are lots of pop up blockers to kill pop up ads. However, at my company pc. I have no pop up software, however, all the popups ad don't popup, they simply open new windows and minimized. That's good if you dont want to install pop up software, they are just minimized. But
I don't know how that can be done?

Any idea how I can do that?

Alternative way to prevent popups without additional software is to configure internet security zone to prompt before running any script. That way you can click NO for atempts to run scipts, which are causing popups.

Of course that means lot of clicking and there are only restricted zone and trusted zone, where you can put regulary used web sites. I've soved that restriction by adding new security zones. I've cloned internet zone with two copies. One zone allows scripts and the other one doesn't. I'me quite satisfied with this solution.
