how to copy/delete (W98)

well folks,...
i have some files and folders i can't copy in a floppy disk. it says access is denied or it is in use.
They really really important to me....
Please guys how fix this problem??
also i have a folder with the same message i wanna delete it, but no luck

To be sure I understand.
You have a floppy disk with files and folders on it.
You can explore the floppy.
But, when you right click and drag one or any of these files to your desktop, release and select 'Copy here' you receive the message?

You also have a folder located somewhere on your hard drive that you want to delete. When you left click on the folder once to select it, hold down the shift key and right click on the folder and select 'Delete' you get the message again?

Is any of the above true? In not then please explain further.

Can you open the files and then go to File Save As and name it something else?

Same for the folder. Try renaming the folder name to something else.

Additionally, right click on one of the files on the floppy and select properties to see if it is set to 'Read only'. If so then change it by removing the check.
