windows 2000 pro will only allow 10 simultaneous connections from the network. Is there a registry setting that will increase this number?

No, there isn't. You have to buy more licenses from Microsoft.

Should be able to:
<a target="_blank" href=http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22Windows+2000+Client+Access+License%22>http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22Windows+2000+Client+Access+License%22</a>
There's more about licensing here:

hold on guys. Im not talking about server 2000 k.
Im talking about windows 2000 pro. Take for example that your sharing a printer on a 2000 pro machine. It will only allow 10 people to print to that printer at 1 time. Im not talking about having a server in the scenario at all. Microsoft has always said that if you have 10 or more people accessing one machine then you need to install server. Thats why they made nt based workstations with the 10 connection limit. It is also in the license agreement that it only allows 10 simultaneous connections. I was just wondering if anybody knew a way around it. The correct way around it would be to put in a server OR make the computer thats sharing out the printer a win98 machine because you dont have this limitation on 9x machines. You cant buy more licenses for 2000 pro. You can buy more 2000 pro's but thats not going to get you past the 10 connection limitation.
