Access floppy drive (W2K)

I use Win 2000. Our Administrator disabled the floppy drive. I would like to know how to enable it. Is it from the Motherboard settings or Registry. Any ideas??

If your Administrator disabled the floppy drive, then surely, s/he must have done it for a reason. If you need the floppy drive, ask your Administrator to modify your privileges.
