Does anyone know of a website the compares/contrasts the qualities and performance of Windows 98 SE and Windows XP? Or would anyone like to say something that they like better about one than the other?
Thanks,

Brady,
If you are considering whether to use W98 or XP then go with XP (as long as your system meets the hardware requirements). It is a much more stable OS and will be supported by Microsoft for many years.

I would perfer win98 se.
however, here are the difference
xp is true multi tasking like NT, but 98
xp may have some problem with old 98 software, but 98 is good for almost any software, hardware especially for home use
Xp tends to be faster in terms of pc speed, however, a couple of seconds sometimes not noticable
98 does not need too much ram to have it run where xp needs more ram.
98 consumes less diskspace than xp.
Xp is a spyware as I was told
xp has better security feature, but for home use, I think 98 is enough.
I have both. I found win98 more comfortable.
