I want to format my computer, and have programs on my computer in which i have lost the disks, i have a cd writer. Is there any way i can format my computer and reinstall the programs without having to use the disks or the key codes which come with the programs.
If you are going to format your hd and start from scratch, then software needs to be installed as it was intended. I'd suggest you contact the software authors and request copies of the software - assuming you registered your original copies.

Sure, you have a burner just copy all the programs.
You will need the os install cd and the product code no/s for it though.
Oh yea you better make a bootdisk too..

Ehh, that will work for some programs, but others need registration entries not offered by just the program files. I would take Allan's advice, otherwise, see if you can download any of those programs. You might save some brain power and effort by doing that.
Hope you get it worked out,

Or you can hook up a slave hd, do a clone of 'c' with Ghost, or similar.
