I have Win98SE. My computer didn't come with a recovery disk. When my computer boots up its resources read 94%. While being online is drops to the 80's then 70's then down some more. Ive had this computer or 3 years. Maybe i need to pay a professional to upgrade my system. I just dont know how. Can any of u guys help baby sis.

Those numbers are actually rather good. They are the type of numbers a great many people long for.
You've got no problems and any improvements you could make would be so tiny that its not worth the effort. Improving from 60% to 90% is easy to do and gets a great perfomance boost, but going from 94% to 96% is hard to squeeze out and won't make that much difference anyway. Consider yourself lucky.

I have mine slimmed down to the mininum running applications and I am at 65 65 75 right now...
If you have your security programs running like I hope you do... you will never get any better...
Resources are a fixed amount it doesn't matter if you have 64 megabytes or 1 gigabyte of ram...
My wife likes to open to much crap at one time so I leave the resoucre meter running on her desktop.. when she see she is running low she will close stuff out..
Thanks
Mac!!!
I've heard a saying : about 99% of computer problems sit in front of the monitor
