Where is the computer name stored in the registry?

It shows up in a large number of places in the Registry when doing a search. But I think the one you want may be

My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\C ontrol\ComputerName\ActiveComputerName

and

My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\C ontrol\ComputerName\ComputerName

and

My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\C ontrol\hivelist.

There's way too many others to list.
