I recently sarted receiving a "PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED" message during boot up. Win 2000 looks like it's loading but when the progress bar goes all the way to the right like it's finished, I get a BSOD and a "06xB" error. What on earth is this?

According to Microsoft it can be any of the following:
This error can be caused by any part of the disk subsystem, including bad disks, bad or incorrect cables, mixing different ATA-type devices on the same chain, or drives that are not available due to hardware regeneration.
It can also be caused by a missing file from the boot partition, or by a driver file that has been disabled from the Drivers tab by mistake.
What did you do prior to this error occurring?
I would check that the drive cables are seated properly, try last known good and safe mode and see if any of these allow you to boot.
Cheers
Andy
