OCX not registered XP (WXP-Pro)

Upgraded (?) from NT to XP Pro. Application that ran fine under NT now fails saying an OCX is not registered. Verified that OCX exists in ALL possible directoies (Windows, System, System32, etc) Any help / suggestions?

Have you tried running the application in compatibility mode.

To set it up go to start > all programs > accessories > program compatibility wizard.
