Hi,
Whenever I open a .txt file by double-clicking or right-clicking, I get an error message that goes something like: "Cannot find the file C:\<Insert text file here>.txt or one of its components. Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available." And lo and behold, it then proceeds to open the file anyway.
From this I deduce that the path and filename were indeed correct, after all you can't open a file without knowing its path and filename, right?
Therefore some of the "required libraries" would have to be missing. Only I wasn't aware that notepad.exe required any libraries of any kind. Also the fact that the file opened anyway would suggest that the alleged "libraries" weren't really required, were they?
But seriously, I'm guessing that it has something to do with some piece of installed software, because this has happened to me on two or three computers already.
If this sounds familiar to anyone I would be grateful for any tips.
Thanks
