BMP summary (WXP-Pro)

It seems i can use summary in jpg files but not bmp, which seems a bit strange!

Is there a reg. edit that will allow me to use summary in BMP files ?

Yes, just copy the .jpg file's propertysheethandler to .bmp files in registry.

Although I have no problem editing the reg. I`m afraid that I do not know where to start looking for this one. Could you point me in the right direction please.

I think you don't need to add anythings.
Because Windows XP have a summary page at default in .bmp files.

Hi there
The summary page for bmp. files is greyed out ???
The files are not protected, attributes are not read only ? . . I can not add any comments.
Summary page for jpeg files is o.k. and I can add comments.

I see your problem. But I think it is the format that .bmp cannot add any comment on the picture's summary. And the .jpg can add comment because their formats are different.
