desktop acting strange..taskbar/menu opening. programs launching etc. (W2K)

hi, i have win2000.

In the last week i have had problems with things like:
-the mouse coursor goes all over the screen
the taskbar shifts location and size
some programs start opening
if i have a browser open, it will go back in the history from where i am.

ctrl-alt-del stops this.

can there be some conflict problems, or maye a low on memory thing?

and yes i have scanned through the drive with symantec antivirus, trojan remover , spybot, ad-aware

I am thinking maybe there was another party in your computer? Get zonealarm as a firewall. Even though this case wasn't a hack but installing zonealarm is not a bad idea anyways. Are you the only user to this computer? I don't think this is cause by a virus.

yes, its only me using the pc.
its old one i only use for surfing, streaming etc.

i have kerio firewall. im guessing its either confict netween som programs, or memory . But its strange that this has just started happening.
