Delete OS

If i choose The Full Install option in the win 2000 install that will mean i will have two operating systems, after i do this will i be able to delete the other one?

If you install W2K in a separate folder then you will be able to go in and delete the other OS.

What exactly are you trying to do?

well im fixing up an old computer of mine with win 98 on it and i dont have the restore cd and i want to give it a fresh start with a new os. If i simply upgrade the exhisting OS it will run the way win 98 is running (with lots of problems) I want to get a clean start with win 2000

If you want a clean start then you are best to back up whatever you need from the W98 system, format the drive and then install Windows 2000.

You can do this through setup from the CD by deleting the partition and formatting when prompted.
