so there I was, in administrateive tools, in computer management, and I was looking at which services are started. I opened properties for the remote procedure call and set it to disabled.
then I rebooted and from that moment on, the Properties window for a service just is not there or not visable, but the "computer management console" tells me to "close all property pages before closing computer management" and none of my utility programs will run. so where in the registry can I tell it start the rpc on "automatic"
