We are trying to help the local Community center with a computer problem.

Windows 2K Pro, they want to limit the computer down to one user and then lock the computer down so that user can run only the one app they need.

This computer will go into a common area and everyone in the weight room will have access to it. It will be logged on as weight room and then all lifters will use the app to access their own chart and will enter their reps etc into the app.

The manager wants the computer to run only the weight room app when logged on as weight room. They want the desktop to be Microsoft blue only. No Icons, Nothing in the start menu except weight room, no right click ability, no access to the cd-rom or the a drive.

I know to set the account up but how do I use the local machine profile system to lock this down?

THANK YOU!!!!

i'm doing similar, just load the local policy into MMC and slowly go through the options, ones ot look out for are start menu, desktop etc as you can prevent icons from there and hide programs etc
