Hello there!I got surprised to see that my guest acount could install programs like Divx players and codecs, as so be able to install spywares that was bundled with the software "DivX Pro Video". Untill this, I was satisfied with the security of Windows XP and with the user acounts features. But now, I don't want to protect just my settings, but also my system. I want to prevent my guests to install any program, to change any settings - including their work area, theme, registry... -.

I wonder if Windows XP home edition has more restrictive secure tools, and how to set security policies. Any tips would be very appreciated. Thanks! ;)!

Taking that into consideration, you may want to try XP-Pro instead. From my use of it, if you don't have admin privs then you can't install much at all. You may be able to customize the restrictions, but i'm not sure how it compares with win2k on that. Anybody else have more details? I'm still a little fuzzy on some aspects of User privs.

Umm...Where's the "Any" key??
