My Media Player and Real One Player are no longer functioning. The frames appear but in both cases I get a message. Media Player shows 'This page cannot be displayed (refresh, etc.). Real One Player shows 'The site that you requested is unavailable. Please check the name and try again'.
I am on I.E. 6.0 with Windows ME. I recently downloaded the Real One Player and am wondering if the two programs are not compatible or if I have deleted something in my selective startup that I'm not aware of. Should I try removing one of both of these programs and reinstall? Could it be my sound card? Any help would be appreciated.

I think it probably has something to do with your internet connection. Can you connect to the internet at all? Possibly a firewall is breaking the connection. Hope you find the problem.

Thanks Brady but I don't have a firewall (I uninstalled it but still not sure everything has been removed). I am using a high speed connection through a local cable system and they advise me that I am fully connected to the internet and this could not be their problem. I get computer sounds and game sounds but not CD's or greeting cards with music. I have now installed/uninstalled two other systems and neither of them work. It's a mystery to me.
