Hide a folder

Hi,

I'm taking a computer course at school and we have a peer to peer network. The problem is we log in with the same id and password and we can access the C drive on each other machine.
I wanted to block the access of the other computers, but I messed up the computer.
I guess the best solution is to keep my stuff in a folder and then hide it. How can I do that ?
