Quicklaunch Problem (W98)

After a reinstall of 98SE, my quicklaunch toolbar has a black background and I am not able to resize it (takes up half of taskbar). I have seen others with this problem, but no answers.
Anybody got a clue?

I do not know why this would happen but my first thought would be to Right click the Taskbar and deselect QuickLaunch toolbar.

Go to Add/Remove programs, select IE and when prompted, select Repair IE.

When complete go back and reselect the QuickLaunch toolbar from the Taskbar.

Good call! That did it. System would not repair itself, so I had to D/L IE6, but that did it!

Glad it worked out for you.
I have no regrets upgrading to IE6sp1 in the 5 or 6 months I have been using it.
