Add Remove Programs listing question

I need to be able to remove entries from the Windows programs list without actualy deleting the programs. What I want is to be able to install a program then not have it show up on the add/remove programs list. IS there any way to edit the list?

Delete the entry corresponding to the program from this key in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall
