as we all already know we can disable msn messenger integration into internet explore by opening regedit finding the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\] and renaming the key
{FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} by putting a minus sign in front of the "{" i just wanted to add the this can also be done to Yahoo Messenger and AOL Instant Messenger too. These two programs, just like msn messenger, intergrate themselves into internet explorer and can be removed from it.
open regedit and find the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\] and rename the key for AOL instant messenger {AC9E2541-2814-11d5-BC6D-00B0D0A1DE45} by putting the minus sign at the beginning. yahoo messenger is done exactly the same way. the key is {4528BBE0-4E08-11D5-AD55-00010333D0AD} and can be renamed using the minus sign exactly the same way as with the other two. after this is done all three messengers are no longer intergrated into internet explorer. to some this was pretty obvious but in case it wasn't, i thought i'd share it with you. Enjoy...
