Hello XP users,
I noticed that my Windows XP stores files in the temporary internet files directory ("C:\Documents and Settings\"your name"\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5" to be exact). It also stores downloaded media files which takes up much space. So I'm losing twice as much local disk space because the media file is being downloaded into both the directory that I chose as well as the directory listed above.
Does anyone know how to edit the registry so that XP does not store MEDIA files into the directory listed above? I get tired of clearing it out every now and then. Thanks a bunch.
