Recycle Bin size (W98)

Hi, in the 2nd tab of my Recycle Bin properties, I noticed my hard drive size is listed as 1.99 GB, instead of the 10.2 GB that it really is. I then searched on Google's newsgroups & discovered that this incorrect reporting of hard drive size is a known bug in Wind. 98 in the Recycle Bin properties.

If I set my Recycle Bin size to 3% of my hard drive size, will that pan out to be 3% of 1.99GB or will it be 3% of 10.2 GB, which is my real hard drive size? Does anyone know? Thank you, Mercury 5.

It should base it off of your actual drive size. ScanDisk (or whatever other Disk check program you may use) should correct the incorrect free space count, at least for the time being. I've had to do it many times.
