cannot find regedit (WME)

Hello folks,
I have a bit of a dileamna here... I cant seem to find regedit or any other registry editor on my os. would kindly appreciate any help anyone can provide about this problem.

If you go to start > run and type regedit does the registry editor appear?

The alternative to the "Regedit" is "regedt32"...
Try running "regedt32" from the Start->Run
