Desktop Icons

Hi,
how can I arrange my desktop icons alphabetically by default after booting? I had this option but lost it somehow.

If you Right-click on the desktop and select "Arrange Icons" and then "by Name" it should keep them in order when you restart. (unless Windows crashes.) Probably have to Re-Arrange by name if you add something to the desktop, though.

Umm...Where's the "Any" key??

the problem was that after booting the arrangement changed into a "mess". I went back to a previous registry backup and now it's OK again. Don't know why but it works.

That's odd. I had a similar problem with the Open/Save file dialogs and explorer windows for awhile. Nothing would stay in order and I kept having to rearrange it to find things. Don't know how it got fixed, I think it just fixed itself somehow.

Umm...Where's the "Any" key??
