I uninstalled a program (Quicktime) from using ADD/Remove programs. The program is still in Msconfig and somehow gets checked to run at startup even though I don't do it.
I would like to remove this program from MsConfig by editing the registry.
How do I do this?

Have you tried entering Quicktime in registry find (off Edit) and then delete Quicktime keys? Back-up first, of course.

Also, Regcleaner lists all software keys in the registry that you can selectively whack. /images/forums/icons/smile.gif

HKLM - Software - Microsoft - Windows - Current Version - Run

Also same location in HKCU
