Is there a setting in the registry to change the order OE checks accounts? I have 7 accounts to check, and would like to check my ISP POP3 first, followed by all my Hotmail accounts, then my YahooPops account last.

I believe they are checked alphabetically.
Put an A in front of the name of the first one, and so on.
Hope this helps.
cheers,

Thanks for your reply, but that did nothing...I have my hotmail accounts numbered as well, and OE checks 5 first! When I put letters in front of them, it went to e (which is 4Hotmail) first! Weird!

Anyone else have a suggestion?

See if this fixes things. Open OE6, navigate to File > Switch Identities > Manage Identities, put a tick in the box next to "Use this identity when starting a program" and finally, select who goes first via the drop-down menu.

I only have one identity...main identity. And if I were to redo OE so that each account is on a separate identity, wouldn't that mean I would have to switch identities to check each and every account? That's not what I want to do.

Thank you for your reply, though.
